Tax Bills are mailed annually, typically mid-July, after the tax rate has been established by the Hunterdon County Board of Taxation. The tax bill contains the amounts due for the 3rd and 4th quarters of the current year and the 1st and 2nd quarters of the subsequent year.
Due Dates are the first day of February, May, August and November. There is a ten (10) calendar day grace period. If the 10th falls on a Saturday, Sunday or observed holiday, the grace period is extended to the following business day. After the grace period, interest is charged at the statutory rate of 8% on the first $1,500 of delinquency and 18% on any excess and is retroactive to the first day of the month.
Property Tax Payments

- For your convenience, a 24 hour drop box is located on the wall outside of the front entrance to the Municipal Building.
Duplicate Bills: There is a $5.00 fee for printing a duplicate bill.
Deductions:
- Veterans who served in times of war may be entitled to a yearly deduction of $250. Forms are available in the offices of both the Tax Collector and Tax Assessor or online.
- Senior Citizens and Disabled Persons may be entitled to a yearly deduction of $250, subject to income limitations. Forms are available in the office of the Tax Assessor or online.
