Building and Construction services for the Township of Union are now being performed by the NJ Department of Community Affairs Division of Local Code Enforcement, Northern Office. The Office of Local Code Enforcement provides for the administration and enforcement of the State Uniform Construction Code in many smaller municipalities, including Union Township. Services provided include receiving and providing guidance on Construction Permit applications, review of construction plans, issuance of Construction Permits, performing required inspections, and issuing Certificates and Orders, where necessary.

Prior to visiting DCA, contact the Union Township Zoning Officer at 908 735-8027 Ext 19, or email zoning@uniontwp-hcnj.org to review your project. You will need to provide a completed Zoning Permit Application for review; it is available here or you can pick up a copy at the Union Township municipal building.
