Tax Bills are mailed once a year, mid-year, after the tax rate has been established by the Hunterdon County Board of Taxation. The tax bill contains the amounts due for the 3rd and 4th quarters of the current year and the 1st and 2nd quarters of the subsequent year.

Due Dates are the first day of February, May, August and November. There is a ten (10) calendar day grace period. If the 10th falls on a Saturday, Sunday or observed holiday, the grace period is extended to the following business day. After the grace period, interest is charged at the statutory rate of 8% on the first $1,500 of delinquency and 18% on any excess and is retroactive to the first day of the month.
